Krause Springs is a camping and swimming site located about 30 minutes West of Austin. This campsite and swimming hole in the Central Texas Hill Country is 115 acres and home to more than 30 different natural springs. Between the spring-fed pool and natural swimming hole with a massive 20+ foot waterfall, rope swing, and beautiful caves, swimmers and sun-seekers will find their haven. Camp out for the weekend in a tent(no reservations) or bring your camper/RV(reservations available), cool off in the water, and walk through the beautiful butterfly gardens.
